Sahm Adrangi is the Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Kerrisdale Capital Management, and he has recently raised close to $100 million to wager against one stock. This new kind of co-investment fund is one of a kind, and while some hedge funds are raised to revitalize a company, this fund is being raised to short a company’s stock. Sahm Adrangi felt like investors were on the same page as he was because of how quickly he was able to raise the capital for the short, and he put together a report that illustrated the logic behind doing so.
